Opening Exhibition of New Works at Yonkers Public Library
Hello fellow art enthusiasts! 👋
I am thrilled to invite you to my upcoming group exhibition titled "Bridging Chasms.” The show is up from March 23rd through May 16, 2024, with an Opening Reception this Saturday, March 23rd, from 2:00-5:00 pm.
This event will take place at the beautiful Riverfront Art Gallery, on the 4th floor of the Yonkers Public Library at One Larkin Plaza, Yonkers, NY 10701.
The sculptures I am showing:
Driftwood Triptych
Steel, Driftwood

Some people see faces, some the eddies of a stream frozen in place. With multiple depths, this piece shifts and moves as the viewer moves around, creating an endlessly fascinating tableau.
Love Infinity Portal
Steel
15 x 15 x 14 in (38 x 38 x 36 cm)
"Love Infinity Portal" is created from two disparate pieces of straight steel brought together under tension and wrapped around each other in perfect union. The result creates the shape of a heart when viewed from the front, the infinity sign when viewed from the top, and a portal to future possibilities when viewed from the side.
Mark I (aka Collision)
Brass, Steel
21 x 12 x 10 in (53 x 30 x 25 cm)
The first in a series exploring the motion of atoms. Shiny brass arms dance and swirl around an invisible centerpoint while delicately balancing on a single edge. The edge cuts into a heavy raw slab of steel, miraculously piercing the surface and embedding itself into the steel.
Each artwork is meticulously crafted with a unique fusion of materials and techniques, drawing inspiration from my own experiences and perspectives of the natural world. As you immerse yourself in these thought-provoking pieces, you will be transported into a realm where our connection to nature becomes undeniably clear. I hope to see you there!
