The Winter Solstice officially occurred todayMonday, December 21, 2020
at 5:02 am EST
This marks the first day of winter and the celestial origin of many
religious holidays.
For us in the northern hemisphere, it also means that each
day is now getting longer! (suck it New Zealand!)
Wavehenge celebrated its shadow alignment down in Key West today on 12/21
at 12:21pm. The 2020 pandemic has kept me from visiting in person, but
here are some pictures sent by friends this past fall to remind us that
warmer weather is on its way!
