Two ribbons of steel in a delicate balance
Created from a single rectangle of steel, balanced on one corner and ‘twisted’
An experiment in hand-building organic structures from simple ‘rule sets’.
The term ‘ensorcell’ means to enchant, as in sorcery.
Inspired by processes of nature, I start with a simple set of rules and let the form evolve through repetition. What emerges always surprises me and is never quite what I imagined it would be at the outset.
